Getting Outdoors

Even though Everett Lake is relatively small, it is very popular among the anglers who come here during the warmer season. The shoreline is not developed, meaning that there are not too many houses or lodges near the shore. Therefore, some anglers stay on the land and drop a line from there. Others may choose to fish from a boat because it is a great way to get to know the area. Everett Lake is home to several species of fish, including largemouth bass, walleye, and northern pike.

Camping at Everett Lake

When you are interested in RV camping at Everett Lake, it is important to know there are a couple of campsites in the vicinity. Unfortunately, they are not right by the shore, so you might be required to take a short walk to reach the water. The campgrounds do not have many RV sites that can accommodate long vehicles, so making a reservation before your arrival is highly recommended. They are equipped with basic features such as restrooms, showers, and free WiFi.

Exploring the Area

Hayward is a small community surrounded by breathtaking nature and crystal clear lakes. This place is all about fishing, so it shouldn’t be surprising to discover they have the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame located in the heart of the city. Thousands of visitors come here every year to see the museum, which houses around 400 mounted fish. The favorite place for the tourists is the Muskie statue in front of the museum that is 143 feet long.

The adventure basecamp worked very well for our family reunion at a family cabin, giving extra sleeping and nap space. The camper was in great condition, great space inside, air conditioner and other amenities in good working order. Beau was great to work with, timely deliver and pickup, fair price for the size and condition of the camper. The only issue was the mothball smell remaining from winter storage which caused a problem for a pregnant family member. Reservations and payments were easy through Outdoorsy.
