We're excited to share the newest addition to our Besty Westy fleet, the 1986 Westfalia Hightop! This Vanagon has been lovingly restored and upgraded. The hightop provides standing headroom and an extra bed just like the normal Westfalia - plus tons of storage without having to set up anything! Great for stealth camping or for those rainy or colder nights. A 100ah lithium house battery and solar panel keep everything charged and running. A new Subaru engine, transmission, brakes, tires, wheels, and basically everything else you can think of has been replaced. This van is ready for exploring the Shenandoah Valley or the Appalachian Mountains! This is the only Hightop van available for rent in North America right now. Because our office is based out of our home in Frederick, one of the two of us is generally able to meet you to pick up the van and drop it off. We can be pretty flexible given prior notice and accommodate most situations and requests!
