All anglers should have an Illinois fishing license which can be purchased online or from the marina on the eastern end of the lake. Fishing from the lake spillway is prohibited.

Therefore, guests can easily leave their RV rentals in the city and head to Eagle Ridge Resort and Spa on the shores of Lake Galena. While this park itself doesn’t have an RV campground, it is the only option available for the public to access Lake Galena.

Many golf courses and skiing resorts can easily be found in the area when you rent an RV near Cuba City. The region has a lot to explore and tons of historical places to visit. For sports enthusiasts, the annual Galena Triathlon and Duathlon take place during the summer. This event features swimming, biking, and running races.
