Water sports are particularly popular at Dallas Lake, mostly because of its size. Even though this particular body of water has no boat ramp, it can be accessed by the other lakes which are connected to it. Besides water skiing and jet skiing, visitors are encouraged to try kayaking and canoeing because the lake is very easy to navigate. This is an excellent way to enjoy the nature that surrounds Dallas Lake. There are a couple of places where you can rent a boat as well, but they are not located at this lake.
Camping at Dallas Lake

Our first camper van adventure and it was an incredible experience! My husband and I rented the van for a trip to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula with our 11-year-old daughter, and it couldn’t have been better. For starters, Lisa and Bill were awesome to work with—flexible, responsive, and just genuinely good people. The van itself was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable camping adventure. It was spacious, cozy, and felt just like home on wheels. While we didn’t end up using the shower, it was great to have the option, and the composting toilet was a total bonus (and odor free:) I had never driven a vehicle that size before, but it handled beautifully. We’re already dreaming about our next adventure in the van!
