It is situated around 100 miles east of Chicago, Illinois and 150 miles north of the state's capital, Indianapolis. Sites come in a variety of styles, but most have some trees for shade. The bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. There is a playground and well-marked walking trails. Take some time to explore the hiking trails or get an adrenaline rush on the mountain bike trails. Rent a canoe, rowboat or kayak and go for a paddle on Worster Lake, or spend some time at the pleasant swimming beach. The lake does not allow motor boats, so your peaceful paddle will not be disrupted. The nature center in the park has a wildlife viewing window with 1-way glass so the birds and squirrels don't even know they're being watched. The camp store is stocked with all the camping essentials. Enjoy your evenings sitting around your campfire, and drinking in the quiet atmosphere of this state park.
