If you enjoy peace and quiet, go during the week, but if you like to see a bit of life, visit at the weekend. There is often a band playing at the bandstand, and excellent food stalls are set up. Probably the best time to come is July when the New England Sand Sculpting Competition is on. Some amazing sculptures can be seen, and the whole place has a party atmosphere. People from all over New England descend on Revere Beach for this special event.
