Lenawee County is home to several natural lakes including the nearby Devils Lake of the Manitou Beach township. It's a 1,330-acre lake south of Irish Hills, a region famed for its lush rolling hills, small towns, and dozens of crystal-clear lakes. As the area’s largest, Devils Lake is a highly developed resort destination complete with boat ramps and lakefront cottages. Summer in the lake is a flurry of water sports and boat traffic, but you still have a good chance of landing largemouth bass, bluegill, and northern pike. For a quieter time on the water, rent an RV in Addison in the winter for a haul of bluegills and yellow perch.
Where to Park Your RV
There are no RV parks in town. The closest campground is in Manitou Beach about 10 minutes away by RV rental from Addison. Other towns within 20 minutes' drive with sites for motorhome camping are Moscow and Brooklyn (the latter ideal for the August race weekend). Farther away but still within a 30-mile radius, you'll find RV parking options in Jackson, Adrian (for the fall arts festival) and Morenci.
