Soudan Underground Mine is located within the Soudan Underground State Park and is a great spot for a motorhome camping trip. Located in the Vermillion Range, Soudan Underground Mine is in the town of Soudan in Breitung Township. Not too far away from the state park are the cities of Eveleth, MN, and Hibbing, MN. Camping with an RV gives visitors a chance to explore the mine, along with the park’s other recreational offerings. The park is located on the south shore of Lake Vermillion, and while the highlight of the park remains the Soudan Underground Mining tours, the lake is another big attraction with great fishing and boating. Put on your hiking boots and explore the trails in the park. The visitor center offers maps with information on trails through the park.
