Discover Northwood Lake RV rentals for memorable road trips

Dozens of lakes, streams, and creeks flow into Northwood Lake, which is officially classed as a watershed. The surrounding area is a classic New Hampshire scene. Getting Outdoors

Although Northwood Lake is a popular fishing lake that hosts several regional and national fishing tournaments each year, it’s not particularly crowded. Outdoorsmen and anglers can attain solitude and quiet most mornings. The sound of birdsong and waves lapping at the shores are disturbed only by the sound of an occasional passing car or people waving from the shore. Much of the lake’s perimeter is privately owned. Quaint, classic New England cottages and Cape Cod homes line the banks. Anglers can expect to catch a variety of warm water fish, including smallmouth and largemouth bass, chain pickerel, white perch, and brown bullhead. A small boat launch at the northeastern end is open to the public.

Camping at Northwood Lake

Park your rental RV somewhere safe so that you can embark on your adventures knowing your personal properties will remain undisturbed. There are several state park campgrounds and private campgrounds in the area.

Exploring the Area

Trade a fishing boat for a rental motorhome. New Hampshire has designated several routes as scenic byways, including the Robert Frost Byway, Apple Way, and Amoskeag Millyard Scenic and Cultural Byway. Whichever one you choose, you won’t be disappointed. All routes follow meandering roads through lush green mountains, by farms lined with stone walls, and historic towns that date back to the founding of the United States of America. Chic little cafes, restaurants, boutique shops, and quirky art galleries line the main streets of towns along the way.

The RV was fresh, clean, perfectly stocked and delivered in a very quick amount of time. Everything worked like it should and was very comfortable. If you have kids this camper would be amazing! The back area is a perfect place for kids to enjoy! Our hosts were amazing and explained everything we needed to know. The A/C and hot water systems are amazing for a camper. Bathroom is nice size and easy to get around.
