Although Northwood Lake is a popular fishing lake that hosts several regional and national fishing tournaments each year, it’s not particularly crowded. Outdoorsmen and anglers can attain solitude and quiet most mornings. The sound of birdsong and waves lapping at the shores are disturbed only by the sound of an occasional passing car or people waving from the shore. Much of the lake’s perimeter is privately owned. A small boat launch at the northeastern end is open to the public.

Evan and Mary are amazing hosts! We had such a great time and they are so easy to work with. The van had everything you need and every detail is well thought out.
