Explore the Outdoors

There are a couple of smaller parks in the village of Swanton, but the vast majority of outdoor opportunities will be found outside the town limits. That being said, Memorial Park in Swanton is an excellent place to unwind and enjoy beautiful weather. Soccer fields, baseball diamonds, and basketball courts will keep the whole family busy and picnic pavilions are available to use for lunch. Rotary Park and Pillod Park have delightful walkways and peaceful gazebos for you to sit at and read a book, and in wintertime, they are decorated with Christmas lights making it look like a winter wonderland.

RV Parks

You and your Swanton RV rental are in good hands when you book your vacation in northwestern Ohio. Consider Sunny’s Campground in Wauseon, which can be reached in less than half an hour. The full hookup sites here let you camp along a scenic lake or in the shade of the forest. There’s Wi-Fi, a games room, and pets are allowed.

City Sightseeing

Swanton is quite a small village so, beyond the restaurants, farmers market, and local stores, there isn’t much to do. Fortunately, Toledo is only a short drive away. In Toledo, check out the National Museum of the Great Lakes. It’s a lovely place to spend the afternoon and learn a thing or two. With incredible exhibits, a museum ship that can be toured, and a maritime park, you can learn everything there is to know about the rich history of the Great Lakes.

Our family had a great time on our trip to Texas using Joel's RV. It was clean, safe, and affordable. Joel answered all our questions and was available, and even reached out to us to see how we were doing. It was a pleasurable experience and I highly recommend renting from Joel and will certainly rent from him when traveling in the future.

this was my first RV renting experience and overall it was awesome! the host was super nice and took time to explain how everything works. some turkeys jumped in front of the RV and the host took care of everything while we got to enjoy our vacation. I would absolutely recommend renting an RV from this host to anyone who wants a professional and friendly rental experience
