Once a tiny settlement founded alongside the Michigan Southern Air Railway, Wauseon grew along with railway trade, and in 1839, it replaced Ottokee as the seat of Fulton County. Throughout the 20th century, Wauseon continued to thrive as merchants moved to the city, and a 100-foot-wide road was made. Nowadays the city of Wauseon is an excellent place to search for an RV in Fulton County.
