Much of the action in the park centers on 88-acre Holman Lake, which is a hugely popular boating destination during the summer months. The other main water sport in the park takes place away from the lake in the park's huge swimming pool. This ADA-accessible pool boasts a couple of waterslides and a spray ground, which kids absolutely love. There are two zero-entry areas provided for ease of access. The pool is open on specific days during the period from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Finally, if you ever tire of all this water-based activity, you might like to explore the park's eight-mile network of hiking trails. The one-mile Little Buffalo Creek Trail is a family favorite that offers an easy and scenic hike, while the two-and-a-half-mile Middle Ridge Trail is perfect for anyone who doesn't mind a steep climb or two.
