The Great Outdoors

Although true wilderness is fast disappearing from the Dallas Metro area, pockets still remain. The Grapevine Lake, about 8,000 acres, is a wonderful location for fishing, recreational boating, camping, hiking and much more. There is also a floating water park, located near Meadowmere Park; it’s one of the largest in Texas at 25,000 square feet. There are slides, trampolines, and an obstacle course.

When you rent a motorhome in Colleyville, you’ll need someplace to call home base for a few days. Vineyard’s Campgrounds is one of the few RV campsites to receive a “A” rating from the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds. Some amenities offered here include a boat ramp and boat dock for its guests, kayak rentals, an RV dump station, and a convenience/camp store.

Although Colleyville is a quiet suburban town, there’s plenty of places to visit in your RV rental. This RV and the hosts were amazing. The RV was so well equipped and comfortable to stay in. There was a lot of space to stay comfortably and to cook in. We used the RV as a home base during a cooking competition and we did very well. We had travelled all the way from Australia and the delivery, set up and communication was seamless. Thanks again for everything and hope to use this RV again next year.
