Discover Lake Coleman RV rentals for memorable road trips

Vaguely shaped like a fat snake with a gaping maw, Lake Coleman is used as a water supply for the city of Coleman, TX. The lake is surrounded by cattle ranches for miles around. Blue sky yawn overhead, dominating the dry, flat landscape. Ignore the small community growing on the north side of the lake and imagine what it would’ve looked like in the mid-1800s. This part of Texas was once raw and wild. Pioneers scratched out a living, struggling for water while keeping a wary eye out for bandits and wild men. A handful succeeded. Most gave up and moved on to larger cities.

Getting Outdoors

At around 2,000 acres, there’s plenty of room to stretch out on the lake. The shores of the serpentine lake are lined with black willow trees, scrubby oaks, and brush. In spring and early summer, the land bursts into a riot of colors, primarily green dappled with white, yellow and pink flowers. Though the wind picks up most evenings, the trees along surrounding the lake mute it to a quiet murmur. Boats rarely get rocked on the glassy surface.

Everything was great! We could not have asked for a better set up! Great for families! Dana was so helpful and they were quick to answer any questions we had! They set everything up for us and we didn’t have to worry about anything! Would definitely rent again!

Delivery and setup made everything so easy. They walked us through how to use everything which was amazing for a first time RV user. The RV was clean and perfect for the family. We will absolutely use them again when we return.

Overall good/average. Not excellent. This camper had seven broken issues that were not mentioned in the listing, booking, or Messages with the Host. Most of the problems, although annoying, did not cause too much trouble for us. The coffee pot they promised was broken, and the showerhead was broken and when I told them about those things, they did come back and fix them, by bringing new items, the very first night. So kudos to the host for that. Screens on doors were ripped, back door did not open, outside lights did not work, bedroom shade broken (would not stay up). The camper was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was not well stocked. Host was polite and apologized for the broken issues but I would not rent from this Host again if possible
