Discover Lake Leon RV rentals for memorable road trips

Lake Leon, also known as Leon Reservoir, is a man-made lake that was built by damming the Leon River in Eastland County, TX. The lake, impounded in 1954, covers 726 acres. The maximum depth is 55 feet, which makes it an excellent spot for catching several different species of fish. The dam creating the lake was first authorized in 1952, and construction began in 1953. The rolled earth embankment was completed the following year. Leon Lake has an uncontrolled emergency spillway, which means that water simply overtops the dam and runs down the spillway; there is no gate or controlled mechanism for opening the spillway.

Steven was a gracious host and the camper was very clean and accommodating. He provided extra blankets and pillows for us. Steven took his time to walk us through the camper to make sure we had a full understanding of how to use everything. We would recommend renting from him as he makes it very easy.

This is the second time I've rented this camper from Shade and Caity. Both times were an amazing experience. They were very helpful with any questions and easy to deal with. I will rent this camper again and highly recommend it for anyone else looking to.
