This museum focuses on Connecticut’s political, military, and industrial history, and how this has shaped not only the state but the nation as a whole. Exhibits include the Freedom Trail Quilt Project, where quilts depicting the freedom trial are presented in different designs. Or the Liberties & Legends exhibit, where the history of the state is presented, along with the State Constitutions of 1818 and 1964 and Connecticut’s copy of the United States Bill of Rights. This museum will keep even the most well-read history enthusiast entranced.
