Camping at Kettletown State Park

The park might seem small when compared to other parks in the state, but it packs a punch when it comes to the camping experience it offers. Even though pets and alcohol aren’t permitted, the advantages outweigh the letdowns. The ample sized pull-thru sites are set up in a heavily shaded area and work fine if you’re interested in practicing some dry camping as hookups aren’t provided. You’ll, however, have access to water spigots spread throughout the park.

This is a really nice trailer that I rented for overflow guests on Thanksgiving weekend. Rafal was so very helpful and accommodating, and really just great. The little boys in the family had a blast in their very first experience in a camper of any type. I opted to use sleeping bags for them to give them more of the "camping" experience, but I should mention that Rafal provided very nice bedding. The boys' parents found the queen bed and linens very comfortable and warm. The heat "fireplace" worked great and added to the cozy comfort, and everything plugged in easily to my garage outlet. All around, it was just a great experience. I will definitely be renting from Rafal again. Highly recommend.
