Much like any other state park in Virginia, Pocahontas State Park campers are allowed to bring their pets along, provided they're supervised and kept on a leash. Adrenaline junkies should check out Southside Speedway in Chesterfield, VA. This oval race track is also known as the toughest track in the South and offers exhilarating bumper-to-bumper action. Those camping in an RV near Chesterfield will find plenty of restaurants located at the southern edge of the town. These range from traditional restaurants and fast food joints to Chinese and Mexican restaurants. Several gas stations are also scattered around the town, making it easy to fill up the RV rental and hit the road again.
