I enjoy traveling to new places and trying new things with my partner. We have a tiny dog that is pretty relaxed and enjoys taking naps and chasing her ball.

Owner rules

  • Pet friendly
  • No music festivals

Our business model of “no hidden fees” and “no unexpected charges when you get back” is completely true – but that does not mean there are no fees or penalty if you break the rules. Please make sure you understand the rules and ask if you have any questions about any particular rule or expectation. Unfortunately, we have had other owners tell us that some customers will break rules or take things from the RV if there are no fees upon return for doing so.

Enhance your trip

  • Many renters are allergic to pets so we must charge extra because it takes a lot of work to clean the RV after a pet has been in it to remove all the pet hair, dander, and sanitize every surface.

  • Propane will be full at the beginning of your rental. You don't have to worry about filling it back up on return.

  • Propane service when RV is brought back with less quantity than it departed with and pre-paid option was not selected.

We had some issues with the RV but Darren and Paul were very responsive and genuinely cared about us and our safety. They were also fare and understanding when giving them feedback about the trip. They are making immediate repairs and updates to ensure future rentals have a wonderful experience. I would rent again from Darren and Paul.

Darren’s answer

Thanks for the review, Jason. I'm so sorry you had issues with your rental, but I'm glad that you were able to build some lifetime memories with your family on the road trip with Ruby. I've reevaluated my rental policy and decided to increase the amount of downtime between rentals to check and fix items that need attention between rentals.

RV owner was very accommodating and great people to work with but try and give them a little notice before hand. Outdoorsy, however, sucks! I will never use this site again. Spent 30 minutes on hold for support, can't find anything I am looking for on the website. It takes hours to start adding a driver because of their email system. Takes 24 hours to verify ID? Do we live in the 1990's? The app for the phone simply spends, spun and spun. I was never able to use it. But great RV and great owner! As I am writing this I can't even upload photos easily...

Have a question?Get answers directly from the owner

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We are usually pretty flexible on pickup and dropoff times. Just let us know early in the reservation process so we can make arrangements with other obligations we may have. Keep in mind we will do an orientation that usually takes 45 minutes. Don't expect to show up and immediately hit the road.

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
Plan to reach your campsite before it gets dark! It's no fun setting up an RV for the first time in the dark. If you're going on a lengthy journey, it may be helpful to make your first stop at a campground close to home. I also recommend watching a video on how to hook up the RV sewage hoses ahead of time.
