Exploring the City

Completed in 1833, Turkey Point Lighthouse is a 35-foot tall lighthouse on the northern banks of Chesapeake Bay. Though not very impressive in height, the lighthouse is built atop a 100-foot bluff, making it one of the tallest lighthouses on the shores of the Bay. Today, Turkey Point is managed by Elk Neck State Park. During the operational season, visitors can climb the stairwell to the top of the light tower. Otherwise, views of the bay and surrounding area can be enjoyed from the bluff.

Overall the camper is comfortable to sleep in. I was more in a boondocking situation and the battery wasn't enough to power the heater (which is propane based) overnight or during the day. Despite sun all day the battery never charged even with everything powered off. There were also a few surprises with missing things like a spatula and some utensils ... all solvable, just a bit frustrating when you are expecting them and they aren't available.

Renting this RV was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! The vehicle was spotless, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable trip. Phillip was incredibly friendly, responsive, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free.
