Exploring the city

An important tourist attraction and historical building in Shady Side is the Captain Salem Avery Museum. Initially set up by James Avery as a fishermen's club in the 1860s, this two-story house was eventually bought by the local heritage society. They restored it back to its original appearance, and it is now a center for cultural exchange in the area. The museum often hosts art exhibitions for local artists among other events and is well worth a visit when you rent a motorhome in Shady Side.

We had a blast with this RV. These Hosts truly mean "bring your food and clothes, everything else is there". Joel and Cassie truly described their RV perfectly. They communicated effectively, explained everything to us with clear and concise instructions. We have been camping a lot in our lives and this RV just pulled up to the site, hook up took about 10 minutes, and we were good to go! Would definitely recommend and rent from them again.
