Boston played a key role in the American Revolution and there’s nothing more historically instructive than a walk on the 2.5 mile Freedom Trail. Follow the red line as it leads you to 16 historically significant sites made up of meeting houses, museums, churches and burial grounds. But even as many of the crucial events in the American Revolution began in Boston, its narrow streets and brick buildings evoke a European feel that’s not as palpable in most American cities. Despite its size, Boston is an intimate and walkable city, which explains why it’s quite a challenge to find parking within the city for a travel trailer rental.
