It is packed with natural features like hardwood forests, freshwater lakes, and a stretch of the Saugus River. With archaeological evidence dating back to the Archaic and Woodland periods, the reservation has gone through major changes over the centuries.
Today Breakheart Reservation is a scenic oasis that attracts adventure enthusiasts from around the state. There are restrooms and shower stalls and picnic shelters too. Bring the kids along to run around in the playground or explore the recreational trails. Make use of the beach too. Pets are welcome at this pet-friendly campground.

There are 230 sites available, and amenities at the campground include big rig access, tent camping, full hookups, 20, 30, and 50 amp electric service, water, sewer, dump station, and limited cell phone coverage.
