RV rental Wells State Park, MA: Motorhome rentals, camper van rentals and more

Although Wells State Park offers many natural luxuries, motorhome camping is still one of the top reasons that tourists come clamoring to the park. Situated comfortably near a calm oak-hickory forest and offering over 50 RV sites with sizes up to a 30-foot pull-through, the campground gives you the option to pick a waterfront view. Take a deep breath and take a dip in the camper-exclusive waters, or roast a marshmallow at your personal campsite fire ring. Hot showers and flush toilets are available for your personal needs, as there are no hookups provided for your camper rental. Feel free to bring up to four of your furry friends, too. Pets are welcome, as long as they're leashed and attended.

Just ten minutes away from the park is New England's largest outdoor living history museum, Old Sturbridge Village, where you'll have the rare opportunity to experience life in the 19th century. Drink a cup of hot apple cider and watch an artisan craft a powerful weapon from iron, or take a trip to the working farms of the village to catch a glimpse of a farmer hard at work. Walk the dirt streets of the town and interact with knowledgeable historians donned in period clothing. View some of the inspiring exhibits or activities sprinkled throughout town or snap a photo of some of the water-powered mills, trade shops, or historical buildings. You'll have a hard time leaving the swirl of activity that the village offers. Dive even deeper into the early 1800s while touring the Freedom Trail in Boston, Massachusetts’ capital. Nationally recognized for over 250 years of history, the trail is a must-see for Americans and tourists alike. With over two miles of historic sites to explore, you'll be led by an animated guide in full costume. Stand by the sobering Boston Massacre Site or towering Bunker Hill Monument and remember some of the most important times in America's history. You'll have the opportunity to stand right where the Boston Tea Party began at the Old South Meeting House, a Puritan meeting house that drew historical figures such as Samuel Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and Phillis Wheatley into frequent attendance. From libraries to famous museums, this trail makes for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. On your way back to Wells State Park, you can stop at one of many grocery stores or gas stations to fill up your rental RV in Sturbridge. Dining in the area includes seafood, steak, Italian, Thai, or traditional American. Make it dinner and a show with a visit to the intriguing Stageloft Repertory Theater, where a talented group of actors performs a new show every month. Whatever strikes your fancy, you won’t regret a trip to the beautiful state of Massachusetts.
