Sleepy Hollow Campground

You won't have to travel far to experience one of Michigan's wilderness areas. Just steps from your campsite, you can explore Sleepy Hollow State Park. Hiking, fishing, boating, swimming, hunting, biking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling are all possible while you stay at this rustic campground. Seven Lakes State Park is near the city of Flint and can be reached in less than an hour's drive. The park is home to more than seven lakes and ponds; recreational activities here include hunting, fishing, swimming, boating, hiking, horseback riding, biking, and camping at one of a few campsites scattered around the park's lakes. Dozens of recreation areas are also situated over by Lansing, like Waterloo State Recreation Area and Brighton Recreation Area, among many more. Waterloo State Recreation Area is one of the best known and beloved parks in the state, with thousands of reasons to bring your campervan rental to stay a while. The third-largest park in Michigan has over 20,000 acres of space to explore, along with hundreds of camping spots, several picnic sites, swimming beaches, 11 lakes for fishing, and a network of trails to bike or hike. There are plenty of other recreation areas in the capital city area, along with several national sites to the north like Huron National Forest near the shores of Lake Huron and the Huron-Manistee National Forests on the massive Lake Michigan. The lone national park in Michigan can be found all the way north next to the Canadian border. Isle Royale National Park is on a remote island in the middle of Lake Superior, and you have to take a ferry to see its graceful shores and stunning natural beauty.
