Egg Harbor Township is part of Atlantic County, NJ, along with Atlantic City. It is the most populated of the cities and townships. It has two claims to fame, the first being that development of the township was licensed in return for promises that no lumber used to build houses would come from an area known as “Pine Barrens” or “the Pinelands” (an area that has been mentioned on the famous HBO TV series, The Sopranos). It is also home to at least three professional athletes, and Steve Keiner (1999 Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest winner), and Nicky Scarfo Jr, an alleged member of the Lucchese crime family.

The good news is that, with Atlantic City just around the corner, tourist numbers within Egg Harbor Township are kept to a reasonable level. There are a couple of golf courses nearby. Both have interesting layouts and strong reviews. <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There are multiple choices here when looking for lodging. Closer in, Shady Pines RV Resort (for travelers 55 or older) and Atlantic Blueberry RV Park are just to the north, off of Garden State Parkway. Pomona RV Park and Campground is just north of the airport but is still described as being quiet and being close to a beach. Pomona appears to be able to offer food selections and customer reviews of the site are consistently strong. To the south, RVers can choose between Lake and Shore RV Resort, Sea Grove Camping Resort and Ocean View Resort Campground; all three of these accommodations are located just off of US-9.</span></p>

Exploring The City

Children up to the age of five will love Storybook Land, which has rides, light shows, and a splash park. Older kids will like Playland's Castaway Cove, which has roller coasters, mini golf and more. Parasailing, water skiing, jet skiing, and laser tag are options for the more daring, adrenaline-rush seeking enthusiasts.

Ashley and Aaron were incredible hosts! They arrived before I did and took care of everything, from delivering and setting up the camper to choosing the perfect spot. The camper itself is fantastic, equipped with all the amenities I could want. It’s clean, spacious, and warm. I highly recommend the camper, but even more so Ashley and Aaron. They communicated effectively throughout the rental process and went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful experience.

Renting from Phill was great experience. He was able to answer all of our questions via text or phone call. He even made us a video with extra details and instructions for using the RV. The RV we rented was beautiful and clean and had all the equipment in it. Phil even provided soap, napkins, toilet paper and dish-ware. This made our vacation easier I feel so thankful for the extra supplies. Overall we had an amazing experience! I highly recommend that you rent from Phill for all your RV needs.
