Wading Pines Camping Resort

When you decide to take your RV rental on the road and explore more of what New Jersey has to offer, be sure to visit Allaire State Park, best known for its 19th-century iron-making town, Allaire Village. If you like hiking, biking, and horseback riding, there is a network of trails that wind all through the park, allowing you to appreciate various species of flowers, trees, shrubs, and other plants, as well as many species of migrating birds that use this park as their feeding and resting place. In the warmer months, you can go canoeing and kayaking on the Manasquan River. However, the cold weather brings new types of enjoyment, as there are trails in Allaire State Park where you can go snowshoeing and even cross-country skiing. At the edge of the Pine Barrens is Parvin State Park, which is just an hour's drive away from the Wading Pines Camping Resort. You are sure to have a good time on Parvin Lake, where you can enjoy the wonderful nature that surrounds it as you go swimming and boating. Besides Parvin Lake, you can visit Thundergust Lake, as well as Muddy Run, which are popular fishing sites. If one day is not enough to experience all of what Parvin State Park has to offer, there is no need to worry – campsites are available, which makes camping with an RV the ideal way to visit. Nature lovers will relish in all of the features of Wharton State Forest. It has an incredibly rich wildlife population – some of the animals that can be seen are bald eagles, great-horned owls, swans, purple martins, river otters, beavers, and deer. There are lots of water-based activities on offer since the forest has many streams and rivers, as well as ponds and lakes. For history buffs, Batsto Village is the place to visit. It is the site of a former bog iron and glass-making industrial center, and visitors can take a guided tour via their smartphones.
