RV rental Denver, PA: Motorhome rentals, camper van rentals and more

Middle Creek Wildlife Management is a multi-use wildlife refuge providing habitat for plants and animals as well as public access to outdoor recreation. There is an on-site educational facility where guests can learn about the area and its inhabitants; it has extensive information and staff who are happy to answer your questions. The center is open during business hours from around early February to Thanksgiving, has restrooms, and is wheelchair accessible. Visitors can enjoy viewing and taking pictures of the animals and scenery; hunting and fishing are allowed with the proper licenses. French Creek State Park is one of the largest blocks of contiguous forest in the area and resides on what used to be an industrial complex. The park has been recognized for its success in reclaiming the land, designated as an Important Bird Area and an Important Mammal Area by the National Audubon Society and Pennsylvania Game Commission respectively. It consists of forests, lakes, wetlands, and open fields which provide safe habitat for a variety of wildlife and plant life. It is a perfect destination for photographers and nature observers; guests are invited to hike, mountain bike, and swim in the park. Fishing is allowed too. Michaux State Forest was the site of the first Pennsylvanian forestry school named Mont Alto, leading to its nickname “the cradle of forestry;" it was officially named after the French botanist Andre Michaux. The forest is located at the northern terminus of the Blue Mountains, on South Mountain which is predominantly metavolcanic and quartzite rock. The hiking trails in the park are part of the 2,100-mile Appalachian Trail; visitors can hike within the park or continue along the Appalachian. There are roads through the park that are mostly paved level gravel and should be sufficient enough to take your Denver camper rental on a self-guided tour through the refuge.
