2004 Four Wheel Campers Hawk
Yurtle is a truck + pop-top camper that can take you anywhere and keep you comfy as long as you want to stay. I spent a year driving around the west and living out of this rig. It's taken me to breathtaking places far off the beaten path, and truly feels like a home. My lifestyle has changed a bit, so I don't use it as much anymore. But I'm excited to share it with you, and hope you'll love it as much as I do.The Truck:
2014 Toyota Tundra SR5 4x4 4.8L v8 with 90K miles in excellent condition. This truck runs great, has insanely low miles for its age, and has given me zero mechanical issues. Some Tundras run for 1M miles, so this one is barely broken in!The double cab is huge and comfortable. It fits 6 people with room to spare (we once got 8 skiers + a dog in there!). The middle console in the front seat folds up into a third seat if you like. AC blows cold, heater works great, wipers are brand new. Entertainment system has bluetooth, radio, USB, and more. The Camper:
2004 Four Wheel Campers Hawk model. If you know, you know. Four Wheel Campers are the best pop-top truck campers out there because they're built to take you anywhere and let you stay as long as you want. The camper features a queen/king sized bed (it pulls out to a king, or tucks away to a queen), a two burner propane stove, 25 gallon freshwater tank, 3-way refrigerator, cabinets and storage space, and more. It’s tall enough for me to stand in (I’m 6’1 and there’s still tons of space above my head). I’ve lived out of this thing for months at a time and never felt like I was missing anything.Note that the camper doesn't have a built-in shower, toilet, or heater. I've never found this to be an issue. But to keep you comfortable, I've included a portable pump shower, a portable toilet with Nasa-tech poop bags, and a portable propane heater + plenty of blankets.
