Nathan Bedford Forrest State Park is a park located in the northwestern part of Tennessee in Benton County. The park is named for Nathan Bedford Forrest, a Confederate general who conducted different campaigns in the area. Much of the land of the park is built on the site of the Battle of Johnsonville. Johnsonville was a strategic stronghold for the United States Army during the Civil War.

Nathan Bedford Forrest State Park offers three different campgrounds for RV campers. Happy Hollow Campground and Lakefront Campground are accessible by RV. Happy Hollow has 37 campsites. The sites offer water and electric hookups, and also have tables and grills. Self-contained rigs are able to dump waste at the dumping station while the entire campground shares a playground and a bathhouse with showers.

Lakefront Campground is a primitive campground. There are 13 campsites, some of which have water hookups. There is a bathroom that is centrally located.

The others are a little farther away at five miles. The campsites offer fire rings and not much else. Everything that is packed in must be packed out.
