Getting Outdoors
The sailing culture of Delavan Lake is alive and growing every year. There is a local yacht club that is very much involved with Inland Lakes sailing and racing association. Camping on Delavan Lake
Although there is nowhere to go camping with an RV on a nightly basis directly on the shores of the lake, there are plenty of places to set up camp nearby. One of these campgrounds is Elkhorn Campgrounds to the north, located on the beautiful Walworth County Fairgrounds. Camping sites have electric and water hook-up access, with dump stations on-site for added convenience. Overall there are over 160 camping sites with a few trees for shade and privacy. With free WiFi and plenty of picnic tables, it is a very comfortable place to go motorhome camping at.
Exploring the Area
The town of Delavan is just a very short drive away from the shores of the lake, and there are plenty of things to do in town to keep you entertained. Head into the downtown area to shop for fresh produce at the market there or visit the Aram Public Library. Many people also head to this part of town to frequent the shops and eateries located there.
