Encompassing 500 acres of surface area, camping at Pike Lake has become a popular pastime among boaters and fishermen. Those who are motorhome camping with their own boat can make a beeline for one of the two public boat ramps located on the lake’s western shoreline. Boating can be enjoyed for several reasons, but it is most popular on Pike Lake to access some of the prime fishing spots. As its name suggests, the lake is an excellent place to catch a variety of pike species, including walleye and northern pike. Fishing is also allowed from anywhere along the lake’s shoreline as long as it is outside of the designated swimming area marked by white buoys. Any fishing enthusiasts renting an RV during this time can also enjoy an afternoon of ice fishing.
