Outdoors Adventures

If there is one thing that California is known for, it's the epic scenery and natural beauty of the state. Whether you rent an RV and explore the Sierra Nevada Mountains to the east or the national parks of central and southern California, you will be captivated by the great outdoors of the Golden State. The coastal regions of the northern region of California are no exception to this rule, with dozens of state and national parks and recreation areas found up and down the seaboard. Tomales Bay State Park is an appropriate place to start your trip with an Inverness motorhome rental because it borders the town to the north. The park straddles both sides of the Tomales Bay from which it gets its name and contains several swimming areas and peaceful beaches. The land was once occupied by the coastal Miwok people, and there is an interpretive program at the park that explains the history of the native people that once called the peninsula home.

RV Parks to Visit

It can be quite tricky to find an RV park or campground when you rent an RV in Inverness, as most of the local campgrounds are for tent camping only. Olena Campground can be found on the edge of Point Reyes National Seashore with large spacious campsites for you to park and stay. There are playgrounds, a clubhouse, a post office, some shared kitchens, and even basketball and volleyball courts to use during your stay.

City Sightseeing

Inverness is a place of great natural beauty but there are not too many things to do in the small town aside from eating and drinking. The nearby city of Petaluma is quite a bit larger and therefore more likely to fulfill your need to see attractions and get a taste of the city life when you rent an RV in Inverness. The nearby outlet mall is a popular shopping destination frequented by people from as far as San Francisco and Oakland for its bargains. The outdoor mall has a great walking path with benches.

This is an easy to drive van with everything you need for your trip. Adam was very thorough with his instructions on everything in the van and even included videos that you could refer to if needed. He was very friendly and easy to work with and available for questions. The van is fully loaded with AC, heating, water heater, bathroom etc. Everything was in tip top condition and I had absolutely no problems with any of it. He obviously takes great pride in his van. He also offers more free miles per day than most of the vans I was looking at. I had a great time traveling for 2 weeks from San Francisco all the way to Olympic National Park in Washington and was very comfortable the entire time. Highly recommend.

The trailer was excellent. It was exactly what we needed for a quick trip to the coast. It contained all of the kitchen supplies, necessary towels, bedding. The refrigerator microwave stove and heater all worked great. The dinette dropped down into a second bed big enough for two adults. The queen size bed mattress could have been a little more supportive. Hall and Hall. It is a great trailer and I would rent it again.

We loved this van. The bed is genuinely comfortable (not the usual camper compromise), the sink is large enough to actually wash dishes in, and the seats held up through long driving days without complaint. Storage was well thought out, and everything worked exactly as described.
Timothy made the whole experience. His walk-through was thorough & he covered every system without rushing, so we felt confident from the first mile. When we wanted to extend our drop-off because we were having too much fun, he was completely flexible. He responded to our questions quickly throughout the trip, which gave us real peace of mind on the road.
This is our first-choice van for every trip going forward. Highly recommend.
