Our self-built camper van includes the setup that two people need to enjoy a week or two on the road with hookups, or a long weekend off the grid. The kitchenette is right by the entrance and includes a faucet, shower head extension (cold water only), and single burner butane cooktop. There is also a shower stall with cassette toilet to make your stay more comfortable. Further into the vehicle, you'll find the seating for the dining area with a pullout table, and an Igloo cooler that can keep ice cold for up to 72 hours. Finally, you'll get to the bed, which is a memory foam mattress to ensure you have a comfy place to rest your head post-adventures! Our rig is perfect for campers who want a slightly comfier experience on the road, and particularly those who are interested in building their own and want to see what the finished product could look like!
Note: The water is turned off in the van for winter! SteVan is still available for camping and has a propane heater, but will not have the full list of amenities until the weather is consistently above freezing again. Thanks for your understanding! :)

Recommendations
We've used it for everything from long weekends exploring Wisconsin to a trip down to Great Smoky Mountains National Park! She drives great, and is a really comfortable home to head back to after a long day hiking!
Other things to note
-Renters will be responsible for emptying and rinsing the cassette toilet at the end of their stay.
-Festivals and pets are okay.
-Absolutely no smoking of any kind in or near the vehicle.

We are Steph and Steve, and we have owned our self-converted camper for about a year and a half. We'd been interested in a van conversion for a while, and finally made the leap during COVID when we had a lot of extra time to build it. We've taken trips to the Great Smoky Mountains, out west to Washington and Colorado, and more locally around the state!

Our trip was perfect. The van drives really well and we loved the cozy interior. Works well for everything from tailgates to campsites. We even navigated adventures like snowstorms and island ferries. Would absolutely recommend this van!

A quick review of how incredible Steph's van was in my first month-long SOLO journey! First, Steph herself made my journey easier with an open line of communication. I felt at ease texting or calling her for anything from the apps needed and possible complications with the RV. ie, AC, which was running perfectly as it should. Secondly, liability: I had no mechanical problems with RV, especially driving to CO campsites and through CO Mts. In addition, it is so straightforward to drive, and my dog loved being a front seat passager. Lastly, the amenities added to the beauty of the trip: all the kitchen stuff needed for cooking, including a camping blender :) hammock, and the best porta potty(easy to use, empty, and clean). Most important was the bed- I slept the best ( no insomnia in Steph's van). Thumbs ups: excellent experience in StephVan!! Five stars!!

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We are happy to work with renters to determine a pick-up and drop-off time that works for them! We will spend about 30 minutes with you when you pick it up walking through the vehicle, doing a test drive, and completing the required Outdoorsy paperwork! Our goal is to get you on the road understanding how everything works as quickly as possible!
