In Prince George’s County, Maryland sits Bladensburg. It was originally known as Garrison’s Landing but was renamed in honor of Thomas Bladen who was governor of Maryland between 1742 and 1747. The town of Garrison’s Landing was established in 1742 by an act of the Maryland General Assembly. Its original purpose was as a regional commercial center. Bladensburg became a tobacco inspection system in 1747, and it managed to maintain its small-town status throughout the 19th century. When you search for an RV in Bladensburg, you will have access to many outdoor adventures and wonderful sites.
