Discover Chesapeake Beach RV rentals for memorable road trips

Chesapeake Beach was originally established as a resort community. It sat at the end of the Chesapeake Beach Railway. This was one of the main lines to and from Washington, DC. In the early 20th century, there were numerous slot machines situated here, granting it the nickname “Little Nevada”. It had a large weekend population, but during the week things settled down. When you book an RV in Chesapeake Beach, you will be close to the nation’s capital as well as some wonderful water and land recreational activities.

The Great Outdoors

When you enjoy an RV rental in Chesapeake Beach, you will have access to many water recreational activities. One of them could be charter fishing. You can do traditional deep-sea fishing or sports fishing. You can spend a great deal of time out on the Bay or cruising out onto the open ocean. It all depends on what you’re willing to do, how much time you have to surrender to this activity, and the charter fishing provider you choose.

RV Parks

Enjoying a camper rental in Chesapeake Beach means you’ll want to spend a few days here, at least. The Breezy Point Beach and Campground offers water and electric hookups. It is basically a sandy field that sits right along the beach. Some of the sites have trees along the side, so those sites will get shade. There are fire rings and tables along the beach, which is a nice addition.

Exploring the City

As far as the area itself, you can check out the Chesapeake Beach Water Park in season. There is a good breeze that blows off the Chesapeake Bay that keeps it cool during the summer months. It is considered a good waterpark for families and people of all ages.

Exactly as advertised and so comfortable for a long weekend in West Virginia! The van was easy to drive and the backup camera made it easy to park as well. The bed is comfortable, but be aware that it's not full length -- I'm 5'7" and opted to sleep diagonally so I could stretch out fully, but north-south would have worked as well. The composting toilet was easy to use and didn't smell at all. I had more than enough power and water for three days even though I didn't get any sun to charge the batteries with. The interior is in great condition. Would book again!

I just returned from a 10-day trip from Virginia to Maine in Minty Fresh. Kellsey was great to work with. She was communicative and responsive before, during and after the trip. The van was immaculate (many RV travelers commented on it along the way), was super easy to navigate both city and country roads, and the mattress was surprisingly comfortable. I planned this trip in a variety of ways: drive my car and stay in hotels and bnbs; fly commercial, rent a car, and stay in bnbs; or hire a friend to fly me in a small plane, rent a car, rent two rooms in a hotel. Renting Minty Fresh was definitely the way to go, and I was able to see so much more of the northeast. Thanks, Kellsey!
