One of them is the Mountainview Campground, located just a short drive away from Chimney Rock Park. The natural settings of this primitive campground create a perfect backdrop for visitors who wish to experience nature to its fullest. The campground is relatively small, with just 20 sites for long vehicles and RVs. Campers may use electric hookups, choosing between 30 and 50-amp power.

It is a pedestrian-friendly place, with many important landmarks located next to each other. From historic buildings to gorgeous restaurants, Chimney Rock Park campers may spend an unforgettable afternoon in New Brunswick. Visitors who love exploring the world around them could start their tour at the Rutgers Geology Museum. Located on the Rutgers University campus, this museum focuses on collecting artifacts related to the natural history of New Jersey. It was founded in 1872 by Professor George Hammell Cook. Museum-goers may see a huge collection of minerals uncovered in this state. These were donated by George Rowe, who worked for the New Jersey Zinc Company, as well as Anne and Milton Hershhorn. Visitors may also observe a 2,400-year-old Egyptian mummy, and a mastodon found in Salem County.

We really enjoyed our stay in Allen's RV. We have rented several RV's throughout the years but our entire family felt like this was the best one yet!
The bedding was luxurious, the space was beautiful and the details with blankets etc made us so comfortable. My kids were thrilled at the large selection of DVD's for viewing- there were lots of grown up movies for us to watch after kids went to bed if we had wanted as well. The chairs and rug were comfortable and it was the most completely equipped RV we've had.
Everyone's favorite feature was the giant window so that even when we were inside we felt like we could still enjoy the outside!
We will 100% be renting again! Thank you for sharing your great space with us!

Amazing adventure from start to finish!
Eddie and Michelle are the kindest, most down to Earth people. They were super thorough and helpful with explaining all the ins and outs, considering this was our first time staying in an RV.
They even gave us a thoughtful welcome gift.
