Originally home to the Lenni Lenape people, Mount Holly, New Jersey is a historic township on the outskirts of Philadelphia. It was initially established by Quakers in 1677 and was first known as Northampton before changing its name to Mount Holly in 1931 after the holly tree-covered hills that surrounded the township.

Mount Holly flourished with agricultural industries, gristmills, and sawmills, becoming the county seat in 1793. Today the township retains much of its charm, with elegant architecture dating from the 18th and 19th centuries lining the streets of the Mount Holly Historic District. Its proximity to scenic nature reserves and the bright lights of Philadelphia makes it the perfect place to rent an RV and discover everything Burlington County has to offer.
