Originally home to the Lenni Lenape people, Mount Holly, New Jersey is a historic township on the outskirts of Philadelphia. It was initially established by Quakers in 1677 and was first known as Northampton before changing its name to Mount Holly in 1931 after the holly tree-covered hills that surrounded the township.
