North Brunswick Township is a township in Middlesex County, New Jersey, that was incorporated as a result of the New Jersey Legislature's Township Act of 1798; it was one of the first townships in the state. It is located near the city of New Brunswick and its neighbor, South Brunswick, and took its name from the city. Visitors to the township can take a train from New Brunswick to Penn Station in Manhattan if they wish to make a day trip. The township hosts many festivals throughout the year, including the Carnevale Italiano, the North Brunswick Youth Sports Festival, and a heritage day in Babbage Park.
