Discover Wooster RV rentals for memorable road trips

Wooster is the county seat of Wayne County; it was established in 1812 by a group of men that included General George Armstrong Custer and named after American Revolution General David Wooster. Despite its size, Wooster's accomplishments are extensive. The city is Ohio's agricultural center, attracting Amish farmers to sell their produce and conduct business; it is the host of the Agricultural Technical Institute and the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center, two Ohio State University satellite campuses teaching and researching agricultural science. The center shares its research findings with local farmers, and the city is dedicated to education in general. A number of international industrial firms have Wooster headquarters.

Exploring The City

There is lots to see in Wooster, and a good place to start is with a local arboretum. The grounds are immaculately kept with paved walkways and some areas where guests can walk on the grass. Many of the plant species are labeled and have short descriptions. There are vineyards and wineries where visitors can sample the local products, antique stores, and county history museums. Two popular attractions are the JM Smucker Company with a gift shop, an outdoor patio, and a short tour, and an authentic Amish home with tours of the house and barn, buggy rides, and authentic Amish dinners that include a buffet selection. Brian was very informative and was always available for any questions or assistance. Our trip was fantastic and the tear drop was so fun and convenient to use in remote areas. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to travel and be comfortable and safe.

Clean! It handled well even though there was some wild winds for our trip. Stayed warm and fit 5 people comfortably.
