McGee Creek Reservoir is located in southeastern Oklahoma, near the towns and cities of Atoka, Antlers, and Durant. This man-made reservoir was constructed in 1987 with the damming and impoundment of McGee Creek and many other smaller streams. Originally created as a water source for major Oklahoma cities, the reservoir has built a reputation as an excellent recreational destination.
