Discover Bridgeport RV rentals for memorable road trips
Originally settled by Swedes in 1712, the quiet farm country was rudely awakened by war when General Washington and his troops crossed the Schuylkill Creek on their way to Valley Forge in late 1700. When canals, railroads, and bridges made Philadelphia more accessible, the farming settlement transitioned to a fiber mill and lumber industry. The town officially formed in 1851.
Today, Bridgeport is the sort of small town where everyone knows their neighbors, and some homes house multiple generations of families. The town hosts an annual summer Italian fair that’s half processional, half carnival, with church services, beer gardens, games, and rides.
The Bridgeport Bridge, which spans the Schuylkill River, is thought to be the longest railroad bridge in the USA.
The closest large town is Philadelphia, 18 miles to the southeast.

We rented the RV for an Eagles tailgate and had an amazing experience! Everything worked perfectly and made the day super easy and fun. The RV was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great time before and after the game. The only downside was the Birds taking the loss, but the RV setup made the whole day a win for us
