The Great Outdoors
There are several state parks and preserves that you can visit with your RV rental from Glen Mills, but one of the highlights of the region is Brandywine Creek State Park. Originally a dairy farm, the park is divided into sections by stone walls that date back to the 1800s. Inside, there are three designated nature preserves, one of which is home to a rare Golden Saxifrage Forested Steep Community and 40 acres of Piedmont hardwood forest. The park is teeming with wildflowers, songbirds, and wildlife. From September to November, visitors can see hawks flying in the park, and white-tailed deer roam the woodlands throughout the year. Hiking is the best way to explore the surrounding woodland but you can also take to the water is a kayak, canoe, or tube.

You won’t find many RV resorts in the immediate area surrounding Glen Mills however you have the option of parking your RV rental near Glen Mills in an RV-friendly Walmart parking lot. There are stores located within a 10 to 20-minute drive of Glen Mills on Highway 1, Highway 322, or in Eddystone.
Explore the City
City attractions within Glen Mills itself are limited. However, you can head to the local nine-hole golf course on the northern side of town or hop across Highway 1 to spend a relaxing afternoon in Newlin Grist Mill Park. The 160-acre park hosts a combination of easy walking trails, native flora, and historical sites. Here you can see the original and still functional grist mill which was constructed by Nathaniel Newlin in 1704.
