The park is situated on Elk Neck Peninsula, formed by the Elk River and the Chesapeake Bay, and covers more than 2,300 acres. The park’s landscape is a unique and diverse collection of marshes, woodlands, coastline, and clay cliffs. Turkey Point Lighthouse is found at the tip of the peninsula. Guests are welcome to climb to the top for breathtaking views of the bay. There are plenty of hiking and biking opportunities. It’s a popular place for fishing and boating.
