We rented this stationary unit in a campground for 7 days. We did not travel anywhere with the unit. Photos misrepresented the location of In-place rental of unit at campground. The photo shows the unit location directly on Lake Pepin. Actual location of unit is not the lot where the picture indicates but instead, a photo across the street - not on Lake Pepin.
Air conditioning unit leaked inside the unit profusely during our entire 7 days, requiring us to monitor the water collection every hour, as well as emptying the bucket of water every 2 hours even throughout the night, & replacing wet towels on wood flooring to prevent damage. See pictures below. Extensive mold found (see pictures). When we contacted owner about interior water leaking, she requested that we locate a grounds manager. Stairs into unit were broken & dangerous. Door to unit was not operating properly so we could never close the door, let alone lock it. Consequently, we didn’t feel comfortable leaving the unit during our vacation. We were erroneously charged $290+ by Outdoorsy for insurance designed to protect traveling units. We contacted Outdoorsy customer service re: this problem, we were told there was other insurance for stationary units (that was not conveyed during rental process) and would not refund this insurance we never needed, saying it was too late to change post rental. Owner also intimated that we stole 2 wine glasses (which we never touched & definitely never took).
