Discover Andover Township RV rentals for memorable road trips

Officially incorporated in 1864, Andover Township is a historic settlement on the shores of Lake Aeroflex. It is believed to have been named after Andover in Hampshire, England and was home to Camp Nordland (an American Nazi retreat) in the lead up to World War II. After being shut down by the United States government when war was declared, the former camp has now been transformed into the recreational setting of Hillside Park.

Exploring the City

Book a motorhome rental in Andover Township and make the short drive south to Wild West City, a theme park based on late-19th-century Dodge City, Kansas. It centers around an authentically recreated main street that’s lined with replica buildings, such as C.S. Fly's Photography Gallery where a gunfight is re-enacted each afternoon. Aside from the live-action shows and daily entertainment, it’s a great place to learn about trades of the day, such as blacksmithing, and frontier cuisine.

My wife and I rented this RV for a quiet weekend getaway to The Poconos. We were thrilled to be able to bring our dog with us. The owner was extremely helpful and communicative. The RV was the perfect size for a couple looking for a weekend away that feels cozy, but also has plenty of space. We were able to cook in the kitchen area, enjoy s’mores outside with provided chairs and have breakfast looking out the adjacent window. The bed was also the perfect nook for snuggling up in the chilly nights, while still being large enough to spread out. All in all, we would absolutely book again.
