Getting Outdoors

Since Culver’s Lake is so near to Stokes State Forest, you’ll have plenty to do both on and off the water during your visit with your rental RV. Using the public access boat ramp on the northwestern end of the lake, you’ll be able to enter the water with your boat and enjoy zero restrictions on speed. There is no marina, however, so you’ll have to pull your boat out when you are done with it for the day.

Camping at Culver’s Lake

RV camping at Culver’s Lake is easy thanks to the nearby Stokes State Forest. This state forest is home to a variety of campgrounds, with over 100 sites spread between them. There are pet-friendly campsites, family-centric campsites, rustic campsites, and campsites with full hookups. The pet-friendly campsites require that you prove up-to-date immunizations and paperwork on your pet to ensure the safety of all animals in the area.

Exploring the Area

The part of New Jersey in which Culver’s Lake resides is far more rural than the state’s eastern shores, but there is still plenty to see and do. One of the nearest towns to the lake, Branchville, has plenty of restaurants to enjoy, ranging from locally-owned specialty restaurants to national chains. These restaurants are located both in Branchville itself, in addition to along the highway that connects Branchville with Stokes State Forest.

AMAZINGLY PERFECT! We rented Daisy for a family wedding and she was dropped onsite. This brand new Airstream was the perfect way to enjoy our family event. Clean, on time, very well appointed and the hosts SO easy to work with. Hoping to rent again soon! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We rented a trailer from Cris and had an amazing experience. He was very attentive and helpful from start to finish. We camped at Lake George, and the trailer was well-equipped with everything we needed. I definitely recommend renting from him and would do it again in the future

RV is very well equipped and very easy to drive. Besides the extra length to take into consideration in turns, it drives like a car. The videos available on YouTube to learn about the vehicle are easy to follow, so nothing in van feels complicated, even for a first time camper.
