These tires are not going to go flat with the special tire sealant applied at the dealer. Featuring oversized bunk beds up front you have room for two kids and even three if a couple of the kids are smaller as these bunks are a good 40" wide unlike any other camper bunks. The lower bunk is often used for an adult. This rig has a great U dinette that converts to a queen bed in under 60 seconds. The table swivels and can be raised and lowered. We include awesome memory foam toppers for the lower bunk and the queen bed that provide optimal comfort. We want you to love your vacation!RecommendationsThe North Shore of Lake Superior offers a fantastic option for camping and the views are incredible. This is a perfect weekend or week vacation that you will love. It is one of our very favorite destinations. The Brainerd & Crosslake areas are also a relatively short trek and offer a wonderful getaway. The Army Corps of Engineers has a beautiful campground in Crosslake. ACE campgrounds are some of the nicest in the country. We recently found one late at night in IL close to the IA border that was superb. Typically you have a nice sized camp lot and are not sitting right next to another rig. They are clean as can be and you feel very safe due to their posted hours and onsite camp hosts.I think the ultimate getaway would be to camp in the AZ desert under the night sky where there is no other camper next door! That is our goal in an upcoming year. Its perfect with this camper as it is considered a boondocker, meaning you can stay relatively comfortable even without using the water, electric or sewer hookups! The larger tires and higher clearance make for easier for off-road navigation.Other things to noteWanting to drive south for a trip? Our camper is available but it is not available for winter camping.
No festivals
No Smoking (in the vehicle) - We do NOT mind you smoking a cigar by the fire!
No Pets so those who are allergic can enjoy the camper next time
No Tailgating
No TV is offered - you are camping! But you can use your computer to watch movies on a rainy day

Meet your host, Julie

Member since 2021

Hi, I'm Julie, the owner of the Braxton Creek camper. I love the outdoors, camping, exploring the northern MN, especially the North Shore, as well as our surrounding states. There is so much to see within a days drive to many points from the Minneapolis area! I do have a goal of spending a couple nights boondocking in the AZ desert some winter! I love to garden and work on home decor projects. Being outside is one of my very favorite things in life. I think most people who want to camp simply love to "live outside". My camper offers the means to do just that, spend most of your time outdoors but have all the comforts and security a camper offers to keep you cozy on a rainy day, or the dark of night. Thanks for stopping by to check out my camper.

Great experience, great trip, and great camper. Julie was very informative and friendly. Camper was easy to use and did exactly what I was expecting. Julie goes out of her way to make sure you have a good experience. Highly recommend and will book again.

Julie and Tom were excellent! My wife and I being relatively new to the camper game, they were very helpful, responsive, and provided all the information we needed. The camper itself was fantastic and worked like a champ on our 10-day road trip out west stopping at various National Parks, and it fit all of our needs as a family of 4 (two kids 10 and under). If you have a smaller or mid-size SUV, we used our 2017 Jeep Cherokee Limited (3.2L V6), which pulled the camper no problem. I would definitely recommend this camper and renting from Julie and Tom. Great experience!

The Dahlbergs were very accommodating and flexible with pickup and drop off times. They were very responsive and their communication was great. The camper worked perfectly for our trip and was very easy to haul. They stocked the camper with nearly anything you might need and everything was very clean. The A/C worked very well in the heat. We would absolutely rent this camper from the Dahlbergs again!

Have a question?Get answers directly from the host

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We are very flexible regarding pick up and drop off. Simply inquire and we will work with you on that.

Q.Are the bunkbeds just for kids or can adults use them?
A.
The bunk beds are very wide (40") - the lower bunk certainly is good for an adult. The upper bunk would be best for a younger person, up to around age 12-14 depending on their size. The ceiling does curve above the top bunk and the ladder is not designed for heavier adults. The top bunk, however becomes a great space to stow your baggage if you have no need for someone to sleep there.

Q.Do you deliver to our campsite?
A.
We may dependent on location and time of rental. Please inquire if you are interested in a delivered camper.
