We are Ross and Tara! We don’t go many places without our dog Olive. We lived on the road for 6 months before a settling down in Stillwater, MN. We still enjoy weekend trips but want to share our camper with other who have a similar passion for the outdoors!
We have lovingly named our R-Pod 179, Berry, simply because he looks like a blueberry. We lived in Berry for 7 months while we traveled the country and are excited to share him with you! Berry has a large kitchen to the left and spacious open area at the entrance between the kitchen and a slide-out dinette. There is a wardrobe, overhead cabinets, kitchen cupboards, and bin storage. By the bed is a large flat-screen TV on a swivel so you can watch it from either bed or kitchen. The small bathroom includes a toilet, a shower, an overhead fan, and some storage. The large slideout living room dinette area provides plenty of open space and can be converted into a bed for a 3rd person. The table is also mobile and can be brought outside. Gas and electric refrigerator/freezer for plenty of food storage for your adventures. A convection oven microwave combo makes cooking very convenient. The deep stainless steel sink makes clean up a breeze. The bed is a comfy memory foam mattress and can also be lifted to access basement storage below.
Fee charged if the camper requires extensive cleaning
Do not smoke in the camper

The R-Pod was exactly as stated in Outdoorsy. Had a great trip to Door County WI. Ross was very easy to work with.

We are considering purchasing an RPod so we thought it best to rent one to see how we liked it. This model, the RPod-179 is one of the most popular. It is good for two, maybe three people. We rented it from Ross for a three day trip to three different Minnesota State Parks. We had never used a camper like this before but the setup and take down went very smooth. Ross gave very good instructions on how things worked and was very responsive on a couple of questions we had during our trip. The camper is well made and the kitchen, bathroom, and heater all worked well. It is clean and well cared for. Cooking in the convection microwave was great and allowed us to have fresh baked cookies, pizza and things we didn't think possible in a camping experience. We travelled 500+ miles and it was easy to pull with our Ford F150 truck.

Ross was very kind and helpful with our first travel trailer experience. He explained everything in the walk through and had arrival and departure checklists that we found very beneficial. He made it clear he was available for questions at anytime during our trip which made us feel at ease.

Ross and Tara were great - they responded to all questions in a timely way and didn't let on if any question was a dumb question! "Berry" was the perfect size for my husband and I. We spent most of our time outside, but having the AC when it was in the mid-90's and humid was great for sleeping. We also used the TV and DVD player which was nice. A big difference from our usual BWCA-sleep-on-the-ground experience!
