Camping at Kilen Woods State Park
Kilen Woods State Park has a small campground surrounded by dense woods and gorgeous wildlife. There are 33 sites for long vehicles and RVs that are up to 50 feet long. The campground offers basic amenities such as hot showers, toilets, picnic areas, and a dump station. Each campsite has a picnic table, a fire ring, and a grill. Electric hookups are available at this campground, and 11 sites have them.

Mankato is a gorgeous college town in Blue Earth County. Visitors enjoy exploring Mankato because it has a youthful vibe and plenty of family-friendly landmarks. Kilen Woods State Park campers who are into art shouldn’t miss the opportunity to see the Carnegie Art Center. Established in 1981, this large gallery space is set on promoting local artists who live in or around Mankato. The gallery itself is divided into two parts – the permanent collection and the monthly gallery. Art aficionados could see various forms of artwork, such as paintings, sculptures, photographs, digital art, and many more.

Above and beyond service from the host as well as the broker. From the camping atmosphere, to our boat trip around the lakes (which our host was kind enough to direct us to the local marinas), to the camping atmosphere with his provided high-end portable lodging, this was our best Outdoorsy trip yet.
